Children's Culture Festival
Fella- and Hólakirkja came alive today with a spectacular concert under the banner of Viva la Musica — KrakkaBarokk, presented as part of the 2026 Children's Culture Festival.
The concert featured second-grade students from Fellaskóli and Hólabrekkuskóli, alongside the Hólabrekkuskóli choir and Fellaskóli violin students. Other artists also took the stage, showcasing their talents in a varied, entertaining program that delighted everyone in attendance.
Dijá Sigursveinsdóttur, a teacher at Tónskóli Sigursveins, led the event and guided the project with professionalism and enthusiasm.
The concert was a great success — a true celebration of music and creativity. Fellaskóli extends its warmest thanks to the music school for a rewarding, successful collaboration and looks forward to building on that partnership in the semesters ahead.
Over Easter, the violin group also performed in KrakkaBarokk at Eldborg, a family concert organized by Harpa and the Reykjavík Early Music Festival. The students performed brilliantly, and the school could not be prouder of how they represented themselves. Diljá Sigursveinsdóttur and Anna Hugadóttir led the Harpa concert.
