Young People's Icelandic Language Award
The Young People's Icelandic Language Award in Reykjavík, a City of Literature, is presented annually to mark Icelandic Language Day.
Harpahosted the award ceremony onMonday,Nov.17th Theaward aims tosparkyoung people's interestinthe Icelandic language and encourage them to develop their spoken and written expression. The award's patron is Vigdís Finnbogadóttir, Iceland's former president.
The Fellaskóla students recognized for their strong performance in Icelandic and their overall engagement in their studies were Jökull Máni from 4th grade, Emilia Dís from 7th grade and Katla from 10th grade. We congratulate them.
